I have to comment about this one. This latest message by Dave Wilkerson is nothing new. His latest message is the same prediction that he has been writing about since 1973. The book was entitled "The Vision".
I have it in front of me right now. It was published by Spire books. My edition is the reprint of 1993.

" A vision came to me this summer (1973) It is a vision of 5 tragic calamities coming upon this earth. I saw no blinding lights, no audible voices, nor did I hear from an angel. While I was in prayer one night, these visions of world calamities came over me with such impact that I could do nothing but kneel, transfixed, and take it all in."

The following predictions are amazing considering the time he had the impression:
1. A Crash is Coming: There is worldwide economic confusion just ahead. In my vision, this is the clearest thing I have seen. Many people praying now share this very same vision. Not only is the American Dollar headed for deep trouble, but so are all other world currencies.
It is not really a depression I see coming but a RECESSION of such magnitude that it will affect the LIFESTYLE of every wage earner in America and around the world. (accent on words are mine!) Countries that control a lot of Western currency are going to be in deep trouble also. ARAB countries will be especially hurt.

#3 Bankruptcies of Major Corporations. I believe that we are going to witness the bankruptcies of smoe of this nation's major coroprations. There are going to be many people unable to pay off their heavy obligations to major credit card companies, causing near-chaos.
Thousands of small businesses will be forced into BANKRUPTCIES.
Three or possibly four religious denominations will be forced to operate under skeleton organization due to a lack of funds.

Tight money will trigger a wave of uncertainty and fear. Those who have money will hold it in reserve! (INCREDIBLE!)The USA government is going to "Overreact" to the confused economical developments. I see a flurry of near-panic decisions being made by various government agencies- and note this: "BUT THEIR HASTY EFFORTS TO SHORE UP THE ECONOMY WILL BACKFIRE"

The President of the US will make one and possibly two national radio and TV appearances to reassure the nation that all is well. It will not work. People will distrust these statements and their fears will LEAD TO A REVOLUTION AT THE POLLS.

The Auto industry is going to be hurt badly. Makers of RECREATIONAL VEHICLES are going to get hit very hard. Appliance inventories will pile up and sales will FALL OFF DRASTICALLY.
Almost every economic indicator will be gloomy.

#4 Rush to the Country
There will be a sudden rush to buy farms, ranches and homes in the country. Thousands will attempt to flee from the cities, hoping to return to the land and nature to provide security. There will be a growing urge to "get away from it all" The price of open rural land will continue to soar and acreage within a hundred miles of most major cities will skyrocket out of reach to all BUT SYNDICATES. (See the best seller "Fast food Nation".)

Trelane note: I Know by now you can't believe what you are reading but this is a word for word statement from Wilkerson back in 1973!!!

#5 Unions to Face Dilemma Unions will face new pressures not to strike. Workers won't be able to afford to be out for 1 week.

#7 NOT EVEN GOLD WILL PROVIDE SECURITY Gold prices are soaring but those who invest in this commodity are in for a tragic surprise. It will rise astronomically but it WILL NOT BE SUSTAINED over a long period of time. Silver will also become a very precious metal but neither will offer real security. They will NOT hold their value. His note: This is one of the most significant predictions in this book.

#8 A New World Monetary System. There will develop a call for revamping all world monetary systems into one uniform system.

#9 Suicide by Overdose. -Due to economic consequences and many unprepared. Not by guns but overdoses of sleeping pills and other chemical sedatives. Many will be listed as accidental deaths due to private doctors and wealthy acquiring medications quietly and covering it up.
#10 A Backlash against Enviormentalists and Ecologists.
#11 Confusion for the "Positive Thinking" Preachers. -Due to great losses in positive thinking economic concepts that these believers relied on.

#12 Riots and Demostrations
#13 USA WILL BE BLAMED (incredible considering what happened recently , and he predicted this in '73)
#15 BEWARE: Hoarding will not help.

Friends this was only Chapter 1. The other chapters deal with Drastic weather changes and earthquakes, famine, Nature going wild, DEPLETION of RELIEF FUNDS, Strange signs in the heavens referring to the "Red comet". A flood of filth (porn) through computers, TOPLESSNESS ON TV!!!
It is just incredible. If you can, get this book! It is an eye opener!
